Attorneys like other professionals who advise on personal financial matters, are required by federal law to inform their clients of their policies regarding privacy of client information.  Attorneys have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by privacy laws.  Therefore, we have always protected a client’s to privacy.

In the course of legal representation, we receive significant personal financial information from our clients.  You should know that all information that we receive from a client is held in confidence and is not released to people outside the law firm, except as agreed to by the client, or as required under applicable law. At no time do well sell personal client information or client lists to any third party.

We retain records relating to professional services that we provide so that we are better able to assist our clients with their personal or professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. In order to guard a client’s non-public personal information, we maintain physical and other procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.
